Saudi Water Authority Launches AI Program to Train 10,000 Professionals by 2030

The Saudi Water Authority launched an AI development program for the water sector as a cornerstone of the Year of Artificial Intelligence 2026, aiming to enhance digital readiness and qualify national talent to implement smart solutions in water resource management for long-term operational sustainability.

 The program aims to train 1,500 professionals in 2026, with a long-term goal of reaching 10,000 trainees by 2030. Through specialized executive tracks, the authority plans to accelerate the adoption of AI in infrastructure management and innovation.

 This effort aligns with the Kingdom's broader strategy to establish itself as a global hub for the digital economy and data-driven development.
