OIC Media Observatory Documents 2,352 Crimes by Israeli Forces against Palestinians in One Week

The Media Observatory of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation recorded 2,352 crimes committed by Israeli occupation forces and settlers against Palestinians during the first week of October.
In its weekly report, the observatory stated that Israeli occupation forces committed 30 massacres, resulting in the deaths of 294 Palestinians and the injury of 973 others in the Gaza Strip. Among the targets were displaced individuals at Muscat School in the Al-Tuffah neighborhood, the Al-Amal Orphanage in the Al-Rimal neighborhood, a rehabilitation center for disabled Palestinians in Jabalia Camp, and a school housing displaced persons in Deir Al-Balah.
The report also documented violations in the occupied West Bank and Jerusalem, which, it said, witnessed a bloody week with 22 martyrs and 40 injured. Israeli occupation forces arrested 227 Palestinians and raided a café in Tulkarm, resulting in the deaths of 18 Palestinians, including an entire family. Additionally, the forces razed streets and infrastructure and assaulted medical crews in Nur Shams and Tulkarm camps.
Israel demolished two houses in Ein Al-Dyouk and issued warnings to the owners of seven other houses of imminent demolition. The report added that occupation forces demolished seven commercial facilities in the Shufat neighborhood of Jerusalem and three agricultural barns in Beit Jala, Bethlehem.
Regarding violations of places of worship, the report indicated that occupation forces prevented the call to Friday prayers at the Ibrahimi Mosque in Hebron’s old city, obstructed worshipers from accessing the mosque, and forced them to pray in its courtyards. The forces also prevented the dawn call to prayer for 24 consecutive days, demolished a wooden church, and seized its contents in the Mukharrar area of Beit Jala, Bethlehem.
Among the recorded crimes, the Israeli army occupied 11 houses in the villages of Anin, Dhaher Al-Abed, Nazlat Sheikh Zaid, Yabad, and Qufu'a in Jenin, as well as the Eratah neighborhood in Tulkarm, the villages of Jayous and Hajja in Qalqilya, and the village of Harisa in Hebron, converting them into military barracks. Occupation forces also confiscated a private vehicle in Ramallah and a bulldozer in Nablus.
The report further stated that Israeli forces and settlers disrupted the olive harvest season by preventing Palestinians from harvesting their crops, burning and breaking olive trees, and razing agricultural lands in 16 villages across the West Bank. Settlers also conducted 41 raids on West Bank villages during the first week of October and engaged in settlement activities in Dura, Hebron, including the opening of a road near the Shave Shomron settlement.
