Islamic Affairs Ministry Concludes Local Quran Competition for Boys, Girls in Kosovo

The Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Dawah and Guidance, represented by the religious attaché at the Saudi Embassy in Bosnia and Herzegovina, in cooperation with the Islamic Sheikhdom in the Republic of Kosovo, concluded yesterday the first edition of the local Quran competition for boys and girls, with the participation of 100 contestants.
The closing ceremony was held at the Faculty of Islamic Studies in Pristina and attended by Saudi Ambassador to Albania Faisal Hifzi, and several officials.
Winners in three categories—memorization of 10 parts, five parts, and two parts of the Quran—were honored with prizes, gifts, and commemorative shields.
The competition reflects the ministry's efforts to enhance the global presence of Quranic programs, encourage youth to memorize and reflect on the Holy Quran, and promote the values of moderation and balance.
