Indonesian Ambassador Praises Makkah Route Initiative for Pilgrims

Ambassador of the Republic of Indonesia to Saudi Arabia Dr. Abdul Aziz Ahmad has said that the Makkah Route Initiative is one example of the great efforts exerted by the Saudi leadership to provide the utmost comfort for pilgrims from all over the world.

 The initiative, he said, shortens the time pilgrims need to complete all Hajj procedures. He further expressed hope that the initiative will expand beyond the current three airports to all airports in Indonesia to help Indonesian pilgrims enjoy a smoother journey to Saudi Arabia.

 He extended appreciation to Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, and to His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, for their tireless efforts to serve pilgrims and care for the two holy mosques.
