Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud delivered an address on the occasion of Eid Al-Fitr 1446 AH.

The address, conveyed by Minister of Media Salman Al-Dossary, reads as follows:

“In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.

May Allah’s peace and blessings be upon Prophet Muhammad and all his family and companions.

My sons and daughters, my brothers and sisters, citizens and residents of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and Muslims everywhere,

Peace, mercy, and blessings of Allah be upon you.

We extend our congratulations on the blessed Eid Al-Fitr occasion, express our deepest gratitude to Allah for the opportunity to observe fasting and prayer, and implore the Almighty to accept these devotions from us.

 Dear brothers and sisters,

Allah Almighty has bestowed countless blessings upon our country, foremost among which is the privilege of serving the two holy mosques and those who journey to them for Hajj, Umrah, and visitation. We are committed to providing them with the means to perform their rituals in security, peace, and tranquility.

We thank Allah for enabling millions of worshippers to perform Umrah and visit the holy mosques this Ramadan. We also express our gratitude to the dedicated men and women in our government sectors for their immense efforts in serving these worshippers.

 Dear Muslims,

Eid is an occasion of joy and happiness, embodying unity, compassion, and brotherhood. All praise and thanks are due to Allah Almighty for His countless blessings.

May Allah continue to bestow security, peace, stability, and prosperity upon our country, the Islamic nation, and the entire world.

Peace, mercy, and blessings of Allah be upon you.”
