Jeddah Corniche Circuit: A Vibrant Hub for Community Sports

The Jeddah Corniche Circuit has evolved from a high-speed Formula 1 track into a dynamic community space where the roar of racing engines is replaced by the footsteps of runners and the hum of bicycle wheels, with the circuit becoming a central part of Jeddah's social fabric since June 2025, promoting a culture of health and activity through the "Open Sports Day" program.
 The initiative has been met with overwhelming success, attracting over 46,000 participants from diverse backgrounds. To ensure the safe practice of various sports, the circuit management has set a weekly schedule every Sunday and Tuesday. Early sessions from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm are reserved for cyclists, with the track cleared by 9:00 pm for the next group. From 9:00 pm to 11:00 pm, runners, walkers, and skaters can enjoy the circuit, exercising safely in a world-class environment under the stars of the Red Sea.
 Safety remains the top priority for the circuit’s management team. Security personnel are stationed throughout the track to ensure that all participants, especially cyclists, wear protective helmets. First aid teams are also on-site at all times to provide immediate medical assistance if needed. By offering these activities free of charge, the circuit supports the goals of Saudi Vision 2030 by encouraging a more active lifestyle and enhancing the overall quality of life for residents and visitors.
 Measuring 6,176 meters with 27 challenging turns, the Jeddah Corniche Circuit remains the longest and fastest street circuit in the world. Originally built in a record-breaking eight months for its 2021 debut, the track’s innovative design now serves a dual purpose. While it continues to host elite motorsport events, its accessibility as an open-air gym offers the public a unique opportunity to experience the same asphalt as global racing stars, fostering a healthier, more active community.
