Knife-Sharpening Craft at Al-Aydabi Pavilion Draws Visitors to Jazan Festival 2026
The traditional knife-sharpening craft showcased at the Al-Aydabi Governorate pavilion has drawn robust interest from visitors to Jazan Festival 2026, held within the “This Is Jazan” zone on the waterfront. The display reflects an authentic heritage character and a distinctive artisanal identity rooted in the region’s cultural legacy.
Craftsman Mohammed bin Ahmed Al-Ghazwani explained that the pavilion offers live demonstrations, allowing visitors to observe the knife-sharpening process and learn about the traditional tools used, providing an interactive cultural experience that highlights a skill passed down through generations.
The pavilion is part of the Jazan governorate’s sections aimed at showcasing folk heritage and traditional arts, enhancing tourist engagement, and providing economic support to artisans. This aligns with the objectives of Jazan Festival 2026 and Saudi Vision 2030 in preserving cultural identity.
The pavilion will continue to welcome visitors through the festival, offering an experience that brings together culture, entertainment, and folk arts.
