Ministry of Industry and Mineral Resources Empowers 150 Factories to Achieve Global Quality Standards
The Ministry of Industry and Mineral Resources (MIM) announced today in a news release that it has selected 150 small and medium-sized industrial facilities for its "Future Factories Initiative - National Productivity Program".
According to the release, the initiative aims to enhance the competitiveness of local products by adopting advanced global quality management systems.
The release said that these factories will receive technical and financial support to obtain ISO 9001 certification, an essential international standard for quality management.
This aligns with Kingom's Vision 2030's goal of positioning Saudi industry as a global leader.
