
Tanzania International Holy Quran Award Competition Concludes Under Kingdom’s Patronage
The 33rd Tanzania International Holy Quran Award Competition concluded today at the National Stadium in Dar es Salaam, marking the end of an event sponsored and supported by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia through the Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Dawah and Guidance, with 25 contestants from 25 countries participating.
The closing ceremony was attended by Tanzanian President Dr. Samia Suluhu Hassan, Prime Minister Kassim Majaliwa, Undersecretary of the Saudi Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Dawah and Guidance Sheikh Dr. Awad Al-Anazi, Saudi Ambassador to Tanzania Yahya bin Ahmed Okeish, as well as ambassadors from Gulf, Arab, and Islamic nations.
Speaking on behalf of the Minister of Islamic Affairs, Dawah and Guidance, Al-Anazi emphasized the Kingdom’s longstanding commitment to serving the Holy Quran and supporting Muslims worldwide. "Our presence today at the crowning ceremony of the winners of the Tanzania International Quran Award Competition is an extension of the Kingdom’s journey and its blessed efforts in serving the Quran and Muslims, under the care and support of its wise leadership," he stated.
