General Authority of the Two Holy Mosques Provides Free Luggage Storage at Grand Mosque
The General Authority for the Care of the Affairs of the Grand Mosque and the Prophet's Mosque announced the continued operation of its free luggage storage service for visitors to the Grand Mosque, as part of efforts to enhance service quality and improve worshipers' experience by ensuring a safe and organized environment that allows them to perform their rituals without hindrance.
The service operates around the clock through several designated centers within the Grand Mosque's premises, managed according to the highest standards of organization and safety to safeguard visitors' belongings and ensure their satisfaction.
Three main locations have been designated for drop-off and collection to facilitate easy access from all directions: the western courtyard behind Restroom No. 6, Ajyad Street next to Restroom No. 2, and the eastern courtyard near the Makkah Library. Additional designated points are available at King Abdulaziz Gate (No. 1) and King Fahd Gate (No. 79) to support smooth flow and convenient access.
The authority emphasized that the service is completely free of charge and operates under clear procedures for organizing and preserving luggage. Trained staff are deployed to handle various types of luggage and provide necessary assistance to visitors.
This initiative is part of a broader range of high-quality services introduced by the authority to enhance the pilgrimage experience, facilitate movement within the Grand Mosque, and create a comfortable, obstacle-free environment that ensures the highest levels of safety and peace of mind.
