KSrelief Concludes Open-Heart Surgery Project in Aden, Yemen

The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) concluded a volunteer medical project for open-heart surgery and catheterization in Aden Governorate, in cooperation with the Saudi Development and Reconstruction Program for Yemen (SDRPY).

 The project, carried out from March 11 to 18, saw the participation of 12 volunteers who performed 65 cardiac catheterization procedures, 25 open-heart surgeries, and six transcatheter aortic valve implantation (TAVI) procedures.

 It is an extension of the volunteer medical initiatives carried out by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to assist those in need worldwide.
