Federation of Saudi Chambers Revives Saudi-Canadian Business Council
The Federation of Saudi Chambers has announced the revival of the Saudi-Canadian Business Council with its final formation for the term 1445–1449 AH. Mohammed bin Nasser Al-Duleim has been named chairman of the council, with Abdullah bin Salem Al-Yami and Abdullah bin Ahmed Al-Ahmed serving as deputy chairmen.
This important development in the economic relations between Saudi Arabia and Canada comes after five years of suspension of the council’s activities and trade missions by the federation. Al-Duleim noted that the new formation of the council coincides with the current development in Saudi-Canadian relations. He added that the council aims to reopen the path of economic cooperation between both countries and resume their trade and investment activities.
The council will provide a platform for Saudi and Canadian businessmen to introduce and promote their activities. Through the council, they will establish trade partnerships, explore new areas of economic cooperation, and exchange information about opportunities and markets in the two countries.
