KSrelief Distributes Educational Bags and Supplies to Students in Abyan Governorate
King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) yesterday distributed school bags and supplies to students in Abyan Governorate as part of a project aimed at improving the educational process for displaced children and the host community in Yemen.
Governor of Abyan Major General Abu Bakr Hussein said the distribution of school supplies and uniforms provides vital encouragement to thousands of students in the targeted schools, helping to create a better educational environment. He expressed gratitude to KSrelief for its continued support to Yemen in general and the education sector in particular.
The project targets 13,509 male and female students in the governorates of Aden, Al Dhale, Lahj, and Abyan. It includes the distribution of school supplies, bags, and uniforms, equipping schools with educational tools and hygiene kits, training teachers through specialized programs, and implementing health and community awareness campaigns.
This initiative comes as part of a broader series of humanitarian and relief projects carried out by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia through KSrelief to support education and enhance learning opportunities for the Yemeni people.
