Saudi Toyota Rally Championship to Feature Three Rounds This Year
The Saudi Automobile and Motorcycle Federation has announced an updated schedule for the 2025 Saudi Toyota Rally Championship, following the cancellation of the 'Tabuk Toyota Baja' round, which was originally set to be the second round of the championship from May 7 to 10, 2025.
The decision to cancel the round was made after extensive consultations with partners and relevant authorities. It was determined that holding the event at the specified location was not feasible due to the proximity of the trails to a protected nature reserve, which conflicts with the approved environmental commitments.
Following the recent amendment, the tournament will consist of three rounds this year. The first round took place in Hail from January 29 to February 1. The second round will be held in Qassim from October 1 to 4, and the tournament will conclude with the third round in Jeddah, from December 3 to 6.
Launched in 2019, the Saudi Toyota Rally Championship is one of the federation's flagship initiatives to boost motorsport's presence in the Kingdom. It provides a competitive platform where professional and amateur drivers can showcase their skills in a regulated and safe environment.
