‘Madrasati’ Wins Grand Prize at WSIS Forum in New Global Achievement

Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, represented by the Ministry of Education, won the grand prize in e-learning at the World Summit on the Information Society WSIS Forum 2025 Awards for the “Madrasati” platform, developed by national expertise to support public education.

 This achievement crowns an integrated national effort in digital transformation, reflecting the Kingdom’s global leadership in leveraging modern technologies to enhance education quality and enrich learning experiences, in support of the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

 The Madrasati platform won the grand prize in the e-learning applications category in recognition of its significant role in developing a digital learning environment that serves over six million students and more than 500,000 teachers across the Kingdom.

 The Saudi participation provided an important opportunity for the Ministry of Education to showcase its efforts in advancing digital education and improving the e-learning experience in the Kingdom.
