Survey and Geospatial Information Authority Participates in 2026 World Geomatics Forum in Amsterdam
The General Authority for Survey and Geospatial Information is participating in the Geospatial World Forum (GWF) 2026, held from April 27 to May 1 at the RAI Amsterdam Center in Amsterdam, the Netherlands. The participation reflects the authority’s efforts to strengthen its international presence and highlight the Kingdom’s experience in developing the geomatics sector, while showcasing innovative solutions for a more efficient and sustainable future. The authority’s delegation is headed by Vice President Eng. Ahmed bin Saleh Al-Wasaidi.
GWF is one of the leading global platforms in the geomatics sector, bringing together more than 500 speakers and over 2,000 participants from more than 100 countries, in addition to more than 75 exhibitors and 50 partner organizations. It provides a platform to discuss the future of geospatial information, review the latest technologies, and exchange expertise among specialists and decision-makers.
On the sidelines of the forum, the authority is participating in the accompanying exhibition with a dedicated pavilion highlighting the national experience in developing the geospatial sector. The pavilion showcases the authority’s efforts in regulating, enabling, and advancing the sector, as well as developing the national geospatial data and information infrastructure to enhance data reliability and support integrated decision-making.
The pavilion showcases key geospatial initiatives, including the National Geospatial Platform, which enhances data integration and accessibility, and highlights the authority’s role in supporting development through geospatial solutions.
