Riyadh to Host International Dates Council Meeting Today

Riyadh will host the fourth session of the International Dates Council (IDC) today. The meeting will review the outcomes of the previous session, the annual report, and the executive programs. Discussions will cover the 2025 work plan, priority projects, and the secretariat's report.

This session coincides with the fifth edition of the International Dates Conference and Exhibition, themed "World of Dates''. The exhibition aims to strengthen Saudi Arabia's position as a leading date producer and exporter.

The IDC comprises 15 member countries and aims to enhance international cooperation in developing the date palm sector, improving production and marketing, and supporting research.
