EXPRO Discusses Cooperation with Singaporean Government Entities
The Expenditure Efficiency and Project Authority (EXPRO) discussed opportunities to enhance collaboration with various Singaporean government entities during a visit to the Republic of Singapore by a delegation from the authority, led by Chief Executive Eng. Abdulrazzaq Al-Aujan.
The delegation visited the Singapore National Environment Agency, recognized for its advanced use of artificial intelligence (AI) to improve government spending efficiency in areas such as water loss reduction, carbon emissions control, and waste recycling.
The delegation visited the Port of Singapore and its innovation center under the Singapore Maritime and Port Authority, as well as the Marina Barrage to learn about the National Water Agency’s operations.
The delegation reviewed the Saudi Ministry of Education’s initiatives for enhancing education quality and its impact on efficient spending. Additionally, a meeting was held with the Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy to exchange expertise and explore best practices in public policy and training.
The delegation discussed collaboration with the Singapore Ministry of Health to enhance spending efficiency and adopt best practices in the healthcare sector. It also visited the Ministry of Digital and Information Development, where delegation members discussed modern technologies in government services, strategies for addressing technological needs, and knowledge exchange.
