Middle East Education and Training Exhibition Opens in Jeddah

The Middle East Education and Training Exhibition (MEETES) opened in Jeddah on Sunday, bringing together universities, colleges, institutes, and educational and training organizations from Saudi Arabia and abroad. The exhibition runs from October 05 to 07 at the Jeddah Center for Exhibitions and Events, affiliated with Jeddah Chamber.

MEETES provides a specialized platform connecting educational and training institutions with students and parents. It gives visitors an opportunity to explore a wide range of programs, majors, and educational and training options that meet students' academic and future career needs.

Universities, colleges, institutes, and education and training service providers are showcasing their programs and services, as well as educational opportunities available to students. The exhibition strengthens communication between educational institutions and beneficiaries, fostering partnerships that contribute to the development of the education and training sector.

MEETES' program covers several topics related to the future of education, with a particular focus on the use of AI and its role in enhancing the learning and teaching experience. This includes creating interactive learning environments and using smart educational applications, games, and digital assistants. It also includes supporting teachers, improving teaching methods, and helping carry out educational and administrative tasks.

The exhibition comes amid Saudi Arabia's continued support for the education and training sector under Saudi Vision 2030, which focuses on developing human capital, improving educational outcomes, and better aligning them with labor market needs.
