Guinea Celebrates Winners of National Quran Competition Supported by Saudi Arabia

The Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Dawah and Guidance held a closing ceremony to honor the winners of the 43rd national competition for memorization, recitation, interpretation and elocution of the Holy Quran in Conakry, Guinea.

 Saudi Ambassador to Guinea Fahad Al-Rashidy and President of the Transitional National Council of Guinea Dr. Dansa Kourouma attended the ceremony, held at the People's Palace in the Guinean capital. Several members of parliament, deputy ministers, and ambassadors from Arab and Islamic countries were also present.

 The competition stood out as the largest and most significant at the official level. The closing ceremony featured a heartfelt Quran recitation, followed by a speech from Kourouma, who expressed appreciation for Saudi support of the competition and praised the Kingdom's efforts in serving Islam and Muslims.
