Saudi Arabia Concludes Landmark Participation in India AI Impact Summit 2026
Saudi Arabia concluded its high-profile participation in the India AI Impact Summit 2026, held from February 16 to 20 in New Delhi under the theme "People, Planet, and Progress."
Led by Saudi Data and Artificial Intelligence Authority President Dr. Abdullah Alghamdi, the Saudi delegation highlighted the Kingdom's transformative journey under Vision 2030, which integrates AI as a core pillar of a diversified knowledge economy.
A landmark achievement of the summit was the announcement of Saudi Arabia’s accession to the Global Partnership on Artificial Intelligence, making it the first Arab nation to join the 46-country coalition. This move, alongside the Kingdom's high global ranking in the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development AI Policy Observatory, solidifies its role as a trusted leader in ethical AI governance and a strategic partner in shaping international technology standards.
