Launch of "International Day of Solidarity with the Palestinian People" Activities at the Arab League with Saudi Participation
The activities marking the "International Day of Solidarity with the Palestinian People," a day recognized by the United Nations General Assembly, were launched today at the Arab League headquarters in Cairo. The Kingdom's Permanent Representative to the League of Arab States, Ambassador Abdulaziz bin Abdullah Al-Matar, participated in the event, alongside the Arab League's Assistant Secretary-General for Palestine and the Occupied Arab Territories, Ambassador Saeed Abu Ali, the Commissioner-General of the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA), Philippe Lazzarini, and representatives from foreign nations, as well as various Arab and international organizations.
This event reaffirms global solidarity with the Palestinian people in their ongoing struggle for justice, the restoration of their legitimate rights, the establishment of an independent state with East Jerusalem as its capital, and the end of the occupation.
