Hajj Ministry Warns of Attempting to Perform Hajj without Permit
Ministry of Hajj and Umrah has emphasized that individuals intending to perform Hajj this year (1446 AH) must obtain a Hajj permit through the Nusuk platform, which is integrated with the unified "Permit Platform" for issuing official permits. The ministry also stressed that no type of visa grants the right to perform Hajj, and adherence to all regulations and instructions is essential to ensure the safety of pilgrims and a smooth, secure Hajj experience.
The ministry issued a warning regarding fraudulent activities and the promotion of such campaigns through deceptive Hajj campaign advertisements on social media. These ads falsely offer accommodation and transportation for pilgrims within the holy sites. The ministry urges individuals to report any suspicious activities by calling 911 in Makkah, Riyadh, and Eastern Region, or 999 in other areas of the Kingdom. Additionally, misleading advertisements should be reported to the relevant authorities in all countries.
The ministry has announced that the final departure date for Umrah visa holders is Tuesday, the first day of Dhu al-Qi’dah 1446 AH, corresponding to April 29, 2025, in preparation for the Hajj season.
