
Border Guards Directorate Issues Safety Advisory for Beach Visitors
The General Directorate of Border Guards has called on beachgoers throughout the Kingdom to adhere to maritime safety guidelines, urging them to avoid swimming in undesignated areas, supervise children while on the beach, and take necessary precautions to ensure safety.
The directorate emphasized its commitment to enhancing safety measures by deploying additional maritime patrols and search and rescue teams. It stressed the importance of ensuring the readiness of marine vessels and safety equipment, as well as obtaining the required permits before sailing.
The General Directorate of Border Guards reminded the public to comply with maritime regulations and instructions and to contact emergency services by calling 911 in Makkah and Eastern regions, and 994 in the rest of the Kingdom.
