Tourism Minister Reviews Progress of The Point Project in Aseer
Minister of Tourism and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Tourism Development Fund (TDF) Ahmed Al-Khateeb visited The Point project, one of the projects supported by the TDF and the first and largest mixed-use development in Aseer Region.
During the visit, he reviewed progress on the project, which has a total investment value of SAR1.125 billion. The project is being developed and operated by Advanced Rasm for Property Management Company on an area of 75,000 square meters.
Al-Khateeb said that Aseer Region possesses exceptional natural, cultural, and tourism assets that make it one of the Kingdom's most promising destinations. He noted that quality tourism projects contribute to achieving the goals of Saudi Vision 2030 and strengthening Aseer's position as a leading tourism destination.
He said: "The Point project represents a model for quality tourism projects that contribute to developing tourist destinations and enhancing the quality of experiences offered to visitors, in support of the goals of the National Tourism Strategy and by stimulating high-quality investments in the region."
The Point project includes 250 hotel rooms operated by the global brands Canopy by Hilton and Hilton Residences. It is the first Hilton-branded project in Aseer Region, further strengthening the region's position as a promising tourism and investment destination and enhancing hospitality experiences for visitors.
Projects supported by the TDF in Aseer reflect the region's accelerating development and investment momentum, driven by integrated efforts between the tourism ecosystem and the private sector. These efforts contribute to developing quality destinations, enhancing the visitor experience, and boosting the region's attractiveness throughout the year.
