Saudi Ambassador to Jordan Prince Mansour bin Khalid bin Farhan presented Palestinian Minister of Planning and International Cooperation and Acting Minister of Finance Estephan Salameh with $90 million in financial support from the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to the State of Palestine at the embassy yesterday. This support is part of Saudi Arabia's ongoing commitment to Palestine in 2025.

Prince Mansour bin Khalid stated that this support reflects the Saudi leadership's dedication to assisting the Palestinian government in meeting its financial obligations. He emphasized the importance of this aid in strengthening the resilience of the Palestinian people and alleviating their suffering amidst economic and humanitarian challenges. He also highlighted the support provided to vital sectors, particularly health and education, as an extension of the Kingdom's continuous economic, developmental, relief, and humanitarian assistance to the State of Palestine.

He affirmed the Kingdom's unwavering, historical, and ongoing commitment to supporting the Palestinian people and their legitimate rights to establish an independent state. In this regard, he noted the recent political efforts undertaken by the Kingdom, in joint chairmanship with France, at the high-level International Conference on the Peaceful Settlement of the Palestinian Question and the Implementation of the Two-State Solution, which have led to broad international recognition of the State of Palestine and the two-state solution.

For his part, Minister Salameh commended the Kingdom's continuous financial and political support, emphasizing the significance of this contribution in alleviating the financial crisis facing the State of Palestine, which recent Israeli policies have exacerbated. He expressed deep appreciation for the Kingdom's steadfast historical position towards the Palestinian people.

He also praised the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's unwavering historical stance toward Palestine and its support for its legitimate rights and the establishment of an independent state. He expressed the Palestinian Authority's gratitude to Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, and His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, for their continued political, economic, and humanitarian support for Palestine.
