DGA Launches 'Cloud Pioneers' to Empower Government Digital Talent
The Digital Government Authority (DGA) has announced the launch of the national “Cloud Pioneers” program through the Qtech initiative, aiming to develop and empower government professionals in cloud technologies and enhance the readiness of national talent to leverage the latest digital solutions supporting Saudi Arabia’s digital transformation journey.
The program, launched in collaboration with leading global cloud computing companies including Nutanix, Microsoft, Huawei, AWS, Google, and Oracle, offers specialized training content designed to qualify participants to a professional level, keeping pace with rapid technological advancements.
Cloud Pioneers represents a significant step toward enhancing government efficiency by building national capabilities to manage cloud infrastructure professionally, fostering a culture of innovation, and accelerating the adoption of emerging technologies across government agencies. The program aims to train over 100,000 participants by 2030, supporting the goals of Saudi Vision 2030.
This initiative is part of DGA’s efforts, in cooperation with the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology, to enhance the digital capabilities of the government sector, empower national talent, and establish an advanced digital infrastructure that improves the efficiency and quality of government services.
