Saudi Runner Hakeem Adds Second Gold at Asian U18 Athletics Championships

Saudi runner Hashem Hakeem secured the Kingdom's second gold medal at the sixth Asian U18 Athletics Championships, held in the Eastern Region until April 18.

 Hakeem blazed through the 2000m steeplechase at Prince Naif Bin Abdulaziz Sports City in Qatif, seizing the top spot in 6 minutes 6.6 seconds.

 He noted that the gold medal was a major target for him in this championship, which is marked by strong competition from Asia's leading runners.
