Saudi Industry Minister, Brazil Mines Minister Discuss Attracting Brazilian Mining Investments in Saudi Arabia

Minister of Industry and Mineral Resources Bandar Ibrahim Alkhorayef discussed cooperation between Saudi Arabia and Brazil in mining and its industries in a meeting with Brazilian Minister of Mines and Energy Alexandre Silveira.

 The meeting, which took place during Alkhorayef’s official visit to Brazil, discussed attracting Brazilian companies to invest in the mining sector.

 Also attending were Vice Minister of Industry and Mineral Resources for Mining Affairs Khalid bin Saleh Al-Mudaifer, Saudi EXIM Bank Chief Executive Saad Alkhalb, and Saudi Ambassador to Brazil Faisal Ghulam.

 During the meeting, both sides underscored the importance of advancing strong relations between Saudi Arabia and Brazil, capitalizing on their growing economic development. The meeting highlighted the various joint projects between the two countries in the industrial and mining sectors.

 Furthermore, the meeting provided an extensive overview of the Future Minerals Forum 2025, scheduled for January 14-16, hosting mining ministers from around the world.

 The forum will also gather leaders of global investment, financial sectors, resource companies and institutions, multi-party organizations, non-governmental organizations, and prominent suppliers of mining services and technology.

 Alkhorayef invited Silveira to participate in the ministerial roundtable accompanying the forum.
