
Manga Productions a Cultural Bridge Showcasing Saudi Heritage through Anime
Manga Productions, a subsidiary of the Mohammed Bin Salman Foundation (Misk), continues to advance its creative journey, reaffirming its leadership in content production and the promotion of Saudi culture worldwide. The company was honored with the Cultural Institutions Award (For-Profit) at the fifth annual National Cultural Awards Initiative during a ceremony organized by the Ministry of Culture at the King Fahd Cultural Center in Riyadh.
The National Cultural Awards initiative is among the Kingdom's most prominent cultural programs, launched under the National Culture Strategy to encourage creativity, strengthen national pride, promote global cultural exchange, and contribute to the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030.
Manga Productions has played a key role in introducing Saudi culture to international audiences through anime, gaming, and graphic novel projects. In a short time, it has established a strong global presence by partnering with leading international production companies and supporting the development of national talent.
The company also pioneered the “Manga Education” curriculum in cooperation with the Ministry of Education and the Ministry of Culture, reaching more than 3 million students through the Madrasati platform. It has trained over 4,000 young talents in creative content, adding to its growing track record.
To date, Manga Productions' work has achieved more than 1.1 billion total views across 100 streaming platforms, received over 4,000 mentions in regional and global media, attracted more than 15 million comic readers, and recorded over 1 million downloads of its mobile games.
