Foreign Minister Discusses Regional and International Developments with Swedish Counterpart

Minister of Foreign Affairs Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah received Foreign Minister of the Kingdom of Sweden Maria Malmer Stenergard in Riyadh today.
 During the meeting, the two sides reviewed bilateral relations and ways to strengthen them across various fields, and discussed regional and international developments and their security implications for countries of the region. The meeting also highlighted Sweden's condemnation of the Iranian attacks and solidarity with affected countries, and the necessity of restoring freedom of navigation in the Strait of Hormuz to protect the global economy from the repercussions of current developments.
 The two ministers also discussed the humanitarian situation in Gaza, Israeli ceasefire violations in Lebanon, and the importance of intensifying international efforts to halt escalation in the region to preserve regional peace and security.
