20,000 daily visitors confirm the enormity of "Buraidah Klija"

The daily attendance of the 16th Klija Festival achieved a large number exceeding 20,000 visitors daily, throughout the first week of the festival, which is held at King Khalid Cultural Center in Buraidah, which reflects the size and enormity of the festival at the level of the Kingdom.

According to the general supervisor of the festival, Secretary-General of the Qassim Chamber, Mr. Muhammad Al-Hanaya, the daily attendance, which exceeds 20,000 visitors on some days, has become a renewed opportunity that productive families hope for every year, to practice their activity through it, and communicate directly with their customers and shoppers.

Al-Hanaya explained that the large number of daily attendance is a double responsibility that falls on the shoulders of the Chamber of Commerce in Qassim, as the organizer and operator of the festival, to renew the effort, energy and capabilities to continue this success.

Al-Hanaya added that the directive of His Royal Highness Prince Dr. Faisal bin Mishaal bin Saud bin Abdulaziz, Governor of Al-Qassim Region, to extend the festival for a week is a clear testimony to the magnitude and success of the festival, and its great value among the Kingdom's festivals, as it is a seasonal festival associated with the Klija dish, as it is a popular and traditional dish that has its place among popular foods worldwide.

Al-Hanaya stressed that the festival, instead of being a golden opportunity for shopping, entertainment and tourism, also goes beyond this in its content to work on opening the horizon of financial sustainability for productive families, and owners of emerging and small ideas and projects, and to be a tourist, food, development and economic destination sought by many.
