Italian restaurant chain wins ‘Best Restaurant in Saudi Arabia’ award
PIATTO, an Italian restaurant chain having 16 outlets throughout the Kingdom, was named “Best Restaurant in Saudi Arabia” at the 2018 Saudi Excellence in Tourism Awards.
The award was conferred during the opening ceremony of the Saudi Travel and Tourism Investment Market held recently at the Riyadh International Convention Center.
PIATTO, which won the award for the second time, outdid other nominated restaurants for its overall dining experience and the number of customer votes received.
Held annually under the auspices of the Saudi Commission for Tourism & National Heritage, the Saudi Excellence in Tourism Awards is considered an important tourism event in Saudi Arabia. It aims to promote excellence in the tourism business by assessing and recognizing outstanding efforts of tourism-related establishments and individuals in the delivery of quality products and services to people in the Kingdom.
“The award is a welcome affirmation that PIATTO is a contributor to the development of Saudi Arabia as a tourism destination,” said Steve Skoien, CEO of Alfa Co., which owns and operates PIATTO restaurants.”
Piatto recently announced plans to expand outside the Kingdom.
