Adam Erli: Through war and peace, good times and bad, Saudi Arabia and the US remain trusted partners
Adam Ereli, the former ambassador of the United States to the Kingdom of Bahrain told Al Riyadh that “Princess Reema bint Bandar is an inspired choice to be Saudi Arabia’s next Ambassador to the United States.
Diplomacy runs in her blood. But beyond that, she has demonstrated outstanding ability through her many achievements in the fields of business, public service and education.
Her appointment continues a long line of superb Saudi envoys to Washington — Prince Bandar bin Sultan, Prince Turki bin Faisal, Adel Jubeir, Prince Abdullah bin Faisal and Prince Khalid bin Salman.
I believe that she is the right person at the right time to take U.S.-Saudi relations to the next level, and Saudi Arabia’s many friends in America wish her well.”
About the U.S. - Saudi relations, Erli said, Saudi Arabia is one of America’s oldest and most dependable allies in the Middle East.
He concluded ; “Saudi Arabia is on of America’s oldest and dependable allies in the Middle East. Through war and peace, good times and bad, our two countries have remained close and trusted partners.
Generations of Saudis and Americans have benefited from the strength of these bonds, which no state, no matter how hard they try, can replace.
