Essential Call

When the Kingdom launched its call for Islamic solidarity, it was not just a slogan, but a content that embodies an inevitable reality in the solidarity of the peoples of the Islamic nation in the service of Islam, which is good for this worldly life and the Hereafter.

Allah almighty says in the Qur'an: "And hold firmly to the rope of Allah all together and do not become divided."

The Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, said: “The believers in their mutual kindness, compassion and sympathy are just like one body. When one of the limbs suffers, the whole body responds to it with wakefulness and fever".

This is the call stressed by Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz - Allah save him - in his speech during the annual reception in Mina saying: "In Hajj, the essential call of Islam is evident in the unity of the nation."

Hajj in its comprehensive sense reflects the unity of the Islamic nation with its multi races coming from different parts of the world to mention the name of Allah on known days and to be like one body while performing their rituals with no difference among them.

Everyone has come obediently to Allah Almighty to return to their homelands having mercy and forgiveness from Allah.

The Kingdom's call is continuous and renewed for the sake of the Islamic solidarity tirelessly and with unrivaled determination. It works hard for the pride and glory of Islam and Muslims and defends them in all forums, and stands against anyone who tries to distort the true meanings of Islam provided by Allah Almighty for His servants.

One of the last verses that were revealed upon the Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, is: "This day I have perfected for you your religion and completed My favor upon you and have approved for you Islam as religion."

Islam is a religion preferred by Allah to His servants. Our country – by the grace of Allah – in Hajj and whatever is related to Islam, leads the nation for whatever that serves its good, pride and glory.
