US Department of State: The Former Nuclear Deal did not Address Tehran's Continued Support for Terrorist Groups such as Al-Houthi Militias
The Regional Spokesperson for the United States Department of State
Nathan Tek said that the former Iranian nuclear deal did not address
Iran's practices supporting terrorism, stressing that Tehran must stop
supporting terrorist groups with ballistic missiles.
In a press statement, the Spokesperson said that Iran has to stop
supporting terrorist groups with ballistic missiles, pointing to its
role in funding and supporting Al-Houthi Coup Militias in Yemen.
He also pointed out that the sanctions to be imposed will have a
significant impact on the Iranian economy that has already been worn
out, will result in the withdrawal of European companies from Iran, and
the collapse of the Iranian currency.
