KSrelief Officials meet a Sudanese media delegation

King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief's) officials,
led by Assistant General Supervisor for Planning and Development Dr.
Aqeel bin Jama'an Al-Ghamdi and Assistant General Supervisor for
Operations and Programs, Engineer Ahmed bin Ali Al-Baiz, met with a
Sudanese media delegation at the Center's headquarters in Riyadh
yesterday.

Dr. Aqeel Al-Ghamdi welcomed the visiting Sudanese delegation,
praising good brotherly relations between the Saudi and Sudanese
peoples, pointing out that the Center is the humanitarian arm of the
Kingdom of Saudi Arabia since its establishment on 13 May 2015 in
implementation of the directives of the Custodian of the Two Holy
Mosques King Salman Abdulaziz Al Saud, who presided over the Board of
Directors of several humanitarian, relief and service committees that
assumed responsibility for support and relief works in many of affected
areas around the world, whether war-affected or natural disasters.

Dr. Al-Ghamdi reviewed relief and humanitarian efforts of the Center
over three years in 40 countries around the world in which Yemen has
received the largest share of projects, whereas projects executed there
totaled to 260 in all humanitarian sectors, especially for women and
children.

He pointed out that the Kingdom hosts more than 561,000 Yemeni
refugees, 262,000 Syrians and 249,000 Rohingyas who receive free health
care, free education for their children and job opportunities.
