Morocco's PM discusses with Dr. Al- Issa support of moderate discourse and anti-extremism fight

Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Morocco, Dr. Saadeddine Othmani, received H.E Secretary General of the Muslim World League (MWL) Sheikh Dr. Muhammad bin Abdulkarim Al-Issa and discussed the importance of cooperation in supporting the moderate discourse to confront extremism and counter-extremism and promote moderation.
Dr. Al-Issa, also visited the Moroccan House of Representatives and met with its President, Dr. Habib El Malki, and discussed with him the areas of coordination and cooperation on issues of mutual interest.
In Rabat, Dr. Al-Issa met Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of the Kingdom of Morocco, Mr. Nasser Bourita, and discussed issues of mutual interest.
MWL Secretary General met with Moroccan Minister of Justice and Freedoms, Mr. Mohamed Aujjar and discussed with him a myriad of topics related to the concepts and controls of freedoms and their relevance to the intellectual discourse. Then, he attended the luncheon held the Minister in honor of Dr. Al-Issa and his entourage.
Moreover, Dr. Al-Issa met Moroccan Minister of Islamic Affairs, Mr. Ahmed Toufiq and discussed with him the areas of coordination and joint legal and intellectual cooperation for the Islamic moderation speech. Then the Moroccan minister held a dinner in honor of Sheikh Al-Issa and his entourage.
Dr. Al-Issa visited the Etablissement Dar El Hadith El Hassania and met with its Director, Dr. Ahmad Al-Khamlishi. He also visited The Islamic Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (ISESCO) in Rabat, and met with its officials and he was briefed on its programs.
Dr. Al-Issa held several meetings with a number of senior Moroccan scholars and thinkers, in which they reviewed the ways of cooperation and exchange with regard to the Muslim communities in the diasporas and the necessity of promoting the spread of religious and intellectual awareness among them, in a manner that reflects the supreme values of Islam and the immunization against the dangers of the bigoted, extremist and terrorist ideas.
