Ministry of Labor banned working under the sun

Ministry of Labor and Social Development in Saudi Arabia banned laborers from working in the field under the sun, from 12 noon to 3 p.m.
This clamped and decision is applied from 15 June 2019 to 15 September 2019 all around the Kingdom, among the efforts to protect the safety and health of field workers to provide them a secure healthy working environment.
This decision prohibit allowing the employee to engage in work that is exposed under the direct sunlight to protect outdoor workers from possible danger in accordance to the standards of occupational safety and health.
Ministry of labor called upon Saudi citizens and residents to file an inquiry or a complaint regarding the decision by contacting the customer service no. at 19911 or visiting the “Rasd” website at http://rasd.ma3an.gov.sa/.
