The attention is directed to the city of Dahran , which will host the leaders of participating Arab countries in the 29th Arab Summit, an event that will be chaired by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz.

The convening of this summit comes in one of the darkest periods in the history of the Arab world, which has become the scene of local conflicts since the so-called Arab Spring revolutions that had deviated from their goals and plunged some Arab countries into chaos and opened the door to external interventions and proxy wars and unleashed terrorism that distorted the pure image ofour religion.

This summit comes while the Syrian crisis has been ongoing for seven years during which the country has witnessed the killing of hundreds of thousands and the displacement of millions and has become a field of conflict for regional and international forces, and there is no glimmer of hope on the horizon that shows its coming to an end.

In Libya, life cycle has almost stopped because of the civil war over influence and sharing the legacy of Muammar Gaddafi.

As for Yemen, the Houthi gangs continue confiscating the legitimacy and threatening the security of the Kingdom to serve the Iranian project.

In Palestine, its people continue to suffer under occupation, siege and desecration of its holy sites, while the occupying power rejects all international resolutions and initiatives to recognize thelegitimate right of the Palestinian people to establish their independent State on their national soil.

But the biggest danger facing the region is Iran's expansion through the so-called Shiite crescent extending from Tehran, Iraq, Syria and Lebanon.

In the midst of all these conflicts comes this crucial summit in an attempt to unite the nation to face the challenges that threaten its destiny and existence.

The summit is held in Dammam in recognition of the Kingdom's role in leading the Arab world to safety. There is no doubt that the chairmanship of King Salman adds to the responsibility of the country's leadership, which will ensure that the Summit comes out with positions that affirm the Arab adherence and commitment to decisions and rejection of hegemony and interference in their internal affairs.

The Arab Summit will be held at the King Abdulaziz International Cultural Center (Ithraa) and in the "Grand Hall" inaugurated by King Salman in 2016. It was chosen to introduce the world to this unique architectural masterpiece that was meant to be a focal point for other cultures.

This summit is being held under the slogan "Together We Prevail" and we hope that outcomes will be up to the expectations!
