Lankan bank offers Expat Gold for its expats

A high- level delegation from the Amana Bank which visited Riyadh during the weekend, unveiled a package of banking solutions dubbed ' Expat Gold' which would help its customers to enjoy all the facilities of modern banking according to Islamic Shariah.

The delegation comprising Vice President Amana Bank for Treasury and Financial Institutions Pharis Jaleel, its Vice President ,Siddeeque Akbar Vice President Retail banking

& Marketing ,  Naina Marikar Head of Remittance  Business and Roshan Aliyar Manager Deposits and Expat Banking .

The presentation was held at the residence of the Sri Lankan Ambassador Azmi Thassim in Riyadh on Wednesday .

Siddeeque, who was speaking following the introductory remarks made by the ambassador, told members of the expatriate community here that Amana was here in the Kingdom to offer complete banking solutions to the Sri Lankan expatriates in the Kingdom.

Although the bank was established in 2011, he said , it took some time for the bank to come to Saudi Arabia till it was ready with full fledged banking solutions to the to cater  to the expatriates in the Kingdom.

Pointing out that the Expat Gold program would facilitate easy solutions for the banking needs of the people, Siddeeque said that the bank has deployed a special officer to look after the needs of the expatriate customers. " it will offer personalized services for its clients and even the bank would offer meet and greet services at the airport when the customers arrive at the Colombo airport .

With the mission of Enabling Growth and Enriching Lives, the Bank reaches out to its customers through a growing network of 28 branches and 4000+ ATM access points and has introduced an array of customer conveniences such as Internet & Mobile Banking, Debit Card with SMS alerts, he said pointing out that Online Account Opening, 365 Day Banking, Saturday Banking, Extended Banking Hours, 24x7 Cash Deposit Machines and Banking Units Exclusively for Ladies are also available .
