Reward and Punishment
The reward and punishment principle brings justice for all people. It only considers their works or failure to do their works.
This principle distinguishes between those who bear responsibility, seeking to do their tasks perfectly and pay greater attention to their duties, and those whose functional performance is traditional and who go to their work and finish it without offering useful services to the homeland and the citizens.
Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud agreed upon incentive bonus at ten million riyals for 335 employees at the General Auditing Bureau for doing their jobs and auditing tasks.
This comes to achieve the reward and punishment principle that encourages everyone to do their jobs with no laziness and indulgence, but they should do their jobs seriously to elevate the method and performance of work as it should.
This is not the first time and will not be the last for rewarding the distinct employee and punishing the negligent.
It is something constant to differentiate between the worker and the negligent. The principle of reward and punishment has been set to highlight the competent employers who are keen to perform their tasks and those who are negligent in their performance.
These competencies that have been honored revealed a massive financial leak in the amount of money disbursed by some of the entities submitted to the control of General Auditing Bureau without a legal bond, or failure to follow up the collection of some due revenues for the State Treasury and missing some rights, contrary to the provisions of regulations and instructions.
This all amounted to eight billions and three-hundred million riyals. It is a very huge amount that could have been lost, had not been for the grace of God and then smartness those loyal employees who did not do more than the job assigned to them with all hard work, sincerity and dedication.
Sincerity in work is urged by our religion, as Prophet Mohammad, peace be upon him, said: "Allah loves someone who when works, he performs it in perfect manner"
